Picasa DataProvider for Vertigo Slide.Show 2 is an open source extension to the original Slide.Show 2 by Vertigo. (Based on release 2.1 dated 13-Jul-2009). Slide.Show 2 is an open source Silverlight 2 control for publishing highly-customizable photo and video slideshows on the Web.

Basic Demo:This sample is a simple slideshow in LightTheme. It uses the PicasaDataProvider for data.
Demo With Album filters:This sample is a simple slideshow in DarkTheme. It uses the PicasaDataProvider with Album filter.
Demo With XML Configuration:This sample is customized using a very simple XML configuration file to disable the embed button viewer in the default Light Theme and start the album paused in the album view. It uses the PicasaDataProvider with Album filter.

the example in the downloaded package does not work.
ReplyDeleteCan i know what is the issue? Does code compiles well or its runtime error? Its known issue that this code throws exception in FF and Chrome, but work fines with IE. So let me know the details.

I can't find the Vertigo.SlideShow.xap file that you talk about in your quick started guide.

Once you download the project, please build the project. This will create .xap file under \SlideShow\ClientBin folder.
